my friends and i are debating this question. i think the girl shud just give it up until she stops breastfeeding. my sister thinks its okay as long as the mother is getting plenty of healthy nutrition and drinks more water than usual. but our question would be, would the marijuana come up in the baby’s system
She says he is “addicted” to nicotine and that he will “bash” his head against the wall and act out if he isn’t allowed to smoke…in the video you will also notice that this child is also extremely overweight….should this Mother be reported for child abuse?

Hello. I’ve always known that my mom has smoked a least 6-10 cigarettes a day…she’s tried to quit. A few years ago I saw her smoking a joint in our backyard. I know they say smoking weed isn’t as bad as other drugs but she constantly does it and is always high. She is very smart and ambitious but never stops working not even on holidays like my birthday or christmas. I never get to spend time with her because she works half the night (from home) and all day and she always makes excuses (I’m only fifteen by the way) but I’ve grown a part from her and I’m really independent. I’m always concerned though that she’ll have a heart attack or stroke from all this adrenaline from the cigarettes, weed and work that’s basically everything important to her. Will she die young from this or should I just ignore the problem? Thanks :)
her mom has been an alcoholic for a really long time and sometimes she cant even go home at night because her dad thinks its unsafe and i’m sure it is..she takes up all her time at church and dance because she never wants to be at her house..by just meeting her, you’d never know any of this was going on because she is a beautiful girl on the inside and out. she lives her life through God but i cant help but think something’s bottled up inside her. lately, shes been saying “i cant do this anymore” and “i cant go on like this”..is she thinking about suicide? i feel like if i asked her, she think i was crazy for asking, but i’m really worried about her. i dont want her to get hurt or do something bad..is there anything else i could do to help, other than be there for her and have her over whenever she needs it? plus her family is low on money but she needs money all the time, i have no idea where she gets it from..i just dont know what to do…
Ok one of my friend lives behind the shop that I work at. He’s about 55 years old and smokes crack atleast once a week. He’s been divorced three times and lives with his mother who is in her 80s. He cuts the grass at our shop for $15.00 a week and does yard work at several other places up and down the street. The guy has absolutely nothing, but is one of the most positive, happy, christian people I know. Before he started crack, he had nothing, and if he stopped, he would still have nothing. If he can smoke crack and be fulfilled with the way he lives his life is it ok?
My boyfriend’s mom has been battling with breast cancer for a few years now, and she is not doing so well. She is currently going through radiation, and chemotherapy yet again, but she still continues to drink and smoke. When I say drinking, I mean she also suffers from alcoholism. I just don’t know what to do. It seems whatever we try, she won’t stop. My boyfriend doesn’t act depressed around everyone, but he really is, and he’s scared, and so am I. What can I do to help the both of them?
My step daughter got caught lying about her smoking of pot to her dad and I. She is stealing it from her mother and then giving it out to her friends. The mother is lsaying its not a big deal because she is getting good grades in school. The oldest sister came to us all upset because her mom’s sister is a major drug addict and doesn’t want her sister winding up this way as well. We were told that its not our business.
This child is 14 years old. I am appalled because this was brought up in court and the lawyers said 5 years ago that the mothers drug use was no issue. She is smoking for about 25 years, and she is always with a ciggie in her mouth smoking like a chimney and every day she smokes more and more. She also likes to smoke two cigs at once saying that she really needs to smoke more to feel good. In a recent years she started to smoke cigars on a daily purpose, she is really deeply inhaling them and says that she likes big smoke that fills her inside. She has a female friends about her age, who also smokes a lot and when they come to our house it is smoke everywhere i’m almost out of breath.
And my mom changed a lot. She looks older than she is, she got wrinkles on her face too early, she has a yellow tar stained teeth and very bad breath, she is always coughing a lot and constantly out of breath, sometimes i noticed that she is feeling dizzy, but she says she is ok. Is it a big problem?

My best friend (not anymore) of 12 years recently moved out of my apartment (where she had a bedroom with a crib) to her mother’s apartment where she and the 16 month old sleep on a leather sofa in the living room. Mom smokes weed and cigarettes, gets drunk often, takes esctacy (a street drug – mdma…) and any other prescription type pills she can get her hands on and spends her “child support” money, and her Welfare benefits on her habits – including new tattoos, drugs and alcohol. Is this considered child abuse? Should I report it? I live in Oregon.
In this apartment also lives her 17 year old little brother, her new best friend and her 2 year old daughter and her mom with her 24 year old boyfriend. All of whom participate in affore mentioned illicit activities.
I dont do any drugs nor do i drink alcohol. My husband has been on and off from the Crack, he is trying to quit but he relapses. Should i be worried about my unborn child. I know that if the mother smokes crack while pregnant, that is harmful. But is there anything in the sperm? Is there any chances for birth defects ? Im very concerened. my mom knows that she has a problem i use to be involved in drugs too soo i know what shes going through but i guess im just looking for someone who i could talk to because it eats me up inside and i know that if shes not ready to get help than it wont help because i use to be a drug addict too
