mother filed order of protection, all lies?

Tuesday, August 9th, 2011

My mother filed what is now the 4th order of protection against me. She tells lies ranging from my weight being about 25% higher than it is, to that I’m a drug addict and would use guns against her and the police if they aren’t taken away. Another thing she does is she misquotes me and takes things out of context.

Can I take care of this prior to the court date? Is there anything I can do to keep her from pulling this garbage again? She keeps trying to take away mine and my dad’s guns, and get me committed.

My stepdaughter’s mom got a restraining order on her behalf? Long, and complicated….?

Sunday, June 26th, 2011

Hi, I am engaged to a man who has a 10 yr old daughter who he has full custody of, and who visits her mom every other weekend. So, almost 5 years ago, I moved in, and had a wonderful relationship with my stepdaughter for years. Her mother wanted nothing to do with her, and wouldn’t spend any time with her on her visitations. We ended up taking (the daughter) to counseling because she was having anxiety attacks, and her mom was always moving, and she admitted that her mother was doing drugs in front of her. Her mother was IRATE, and that same year we filed for child support enforcement which made her even more mad. From that point on, her mom and her mom’s family started harassing us. By phone, on the internet, you name it. We just dealt with it. During this time, I was extremely stressed out about an on the job injury, lack of sleep, and infertility problems. I began taking ambien. One night a few years ago, I took my sleeping pill and went to bed. I woke up an hour later in a parking lot in a totalled car. I had no idea what happened. I called the police. I was charged with a DUI, and I went through court appointed treatment, lost my license, etc. Well, 6 months ago, I was in another accident that was cause purely by weather (it was snowing and icy, and the tires were bald) even after I got my license back, I still didn’t drive his daughter around. Also, she was never in any danger. Well, based on my last accident, she got a harassment/protective order and I was kicked out of my home. I didn’t have time to get an attorney because I got served the day before I was to appear in court. I have now been living separately from my fiance, and have had no contact with my stepdaughter for six months. The kicker is that my stepdaughter’s mother currently is trying to get a continuance on the 6mo order (the judge didn’t even read mine and my family’s affidavits) just put the order in place, and let her lawyer call me a train wreck and a drug addict. So, I’m getting ready to fight this continuance with an attorney, and my stepdaughter’s mother has a warrant for her arrest from a fraud case back in 2005 where she used her daughter’s identity to open a bank account, and someone else’s ss#.. the bank figured it out, and closed the account to investigate… meanwhile, she wrote $1200 in fraudulent checks on the account after it had been closed. Anyway, long story short… the woman has multiple fraud, theft (one was our counties little league association for more than $10k) and she is always in court for this stuff.. but no drug charge, although she admits to using illegal drugs and says she won’t stop, but has stopped doing them in front of her daughter.

So, long story short, I have not harassed these people. It has been her mother harassing me for years, and my stepdaughter loved me before all of this. The problems is, is that now she feels like joining her mother in ganging up on me is the only way to gain her mother’s approval…She has told her dad that, and her grandma. She doesn’t want me to come home because her mom will be mad, and so, she’d just rather not see me, and have to deal with it all. And, It’s likely that I’ll win the case, and get the whole thing vacated, but… now I’m9 weeks pregnant with this girl’s little brother or sister, and she has no idea. I don’t want to raise my child or be in a war zone in my own home. What do I do? Serious answers only please, and please read all of the question.
Stephanie, I’m not sure what you’re confused about, but everyone else seems to have gotten it. Please don’t abuse the system by posting your flippant opinion just to rack up your points.

Also, I would like to add.. My fiance and I would have been married long ago, but with my injury, and all of the drama, we decided to wait. And, I call her my stepdaughter because I was the only mother figure in her life for 4 years. My fiance is as supportive as he can be, but what can he do? She’s his daughter’s mother? I admit, he’s not as black and white as I am as far as setting boundaries, and he’s not a vindictive person. he can’t even argue without getting flustered. he is incapable of insulting someone, or proving a point. It’s weird… so I have fought a lot of this battle alone. But, should I just leave? Move closer to my family? How do I deal with this little girl when I move back in. I am resentful (I hate that) but I love her and feel sorry for her too. Her mom is cruel.

Restraining order against father?

Wednesday, May 4th, 2011

I am 14, live in the UK and my parents have been divorced for over 7 years now due to my fathers alcoholism, cheating and abusive behavior. Me and my 3 siblings live with my mother as she has full custody of us and the house is under her name and my dad is not our legal gaurdian.
For some reason, my mum still lets him come back to visit us at weekends. I find this rather strange after everything he has done to our family and he is still extremely violent, threatening and abusive. I really do not enjoy him being here as he had made a number of threats towards me, telling me how he is going to put me in hospital.

Well my question is, is there any possible way that I can put some kind of restraining order against him, or something that will stop him from seeing us?
I’ve talked to my mum about it, but she says she dosen’t want to get involved and it’s not her problem. And i don’t want to be taken away, as my dad dosen’t even live with us, he just comes back at weekends.

I’ve told my mum and she says that his threats are not her problem, and she dosen’t want to get involved. I think it’s because she might be scared of him.

Restraining order against family?

Thursday, February 24th, 2011

I recently found my husband cheating which left me very distressed to the point where I couldnt keep food down and barely slept. My mother came in and offered to take her off my hands for a break, I agreed figuring the break would help and my husband was supposed to be home in the morning and we would sort things out, since him being away made it much worse.
Anyway, I wanted to bring my daughter back downstairs(she lives one floor up) since my daughter doesnt sleep there with all the commotion and the smoking, I didnt want her there I had enough on my plate. My mother kept refusing to let me talk to her or see her, she has an abusive boyfriend that used to be a drug addict and alcoholic. She kept saying “it’s for the better you dont see her right now”. I started to panic thinking something happened to her so when she hung up on me when I threatened to call the cops she said “okay” and hung up. I ran upstairs and heard her crying so I broke down the door when they wouldnt let me in. When I got in her boyfriend tried hiding her from me when I noticed welfare was tehre (who was trying to take my daughter saying I gave her medication to go to sleep faster.)I slid past my mothers boyfriend and told the welfare workers about how my mother told me he had done crack, he pushed past me bruising my shoulder, pulling a few muscles in my back. I realised where they were getting all of their alligations and why my mother kept saying we needed them. I kicked my sister out as she had known and lied saying I beat my daughter and my husband was beating us both. But if that was the case why would she be so happy and playful and love us both so much. Anyway, we agreed, since I had a nervous breakdown with all the stress. Welfare had come over tonight, they wanted to watch us parent, while still during the meeting my sister and brother showed up at the door swearing demanding her tv and stuff, I said it could wait since we were still in the meeting and would take it to her later. They said they were calling the cops, insulted me and left. I guess I just wanted to know if I could get a restraining order against them, since my sister and mother are diagnosed bypolar possibly schizophrenic, her boyfriend is very violent when drunk and my brother keeps coming to the door harassing us. With the stress of them doing this I can feel myself getting more and more scared that I’m going to have a nervous breakdown cause it feels so bad that no matter what I’ll do I’ll always be going through this and I really dont need another breakdown.

Any help would be nice, I read that you needed proof, I can get a doctor to tell about the damage, but my mother is the type that I’ve taken care of since I was 10, and has stolen money and items from me and pawned them. I just dont want them stressing me out, I said I didnt want them coming anywhere near me my husband or daughter, but if they keep it up I DONT want a fight.

I have a lifetime Restraining Order on my ex-husband ???

Sunday, February 6th, 2011

NJ

I want nothing to do with him, he’s nuts. He is an ex crack user of over 25 years. He is an alcoholic and he smokes. All 3 of them i hate. When i met him I thought he only smoked. He just got out of jail in February for a 3 year jail sentence.

Anyway, now that i am free of him he is making my life hell. He’s using my restraining order against me. He claims i am following him. Stalking his mother house, calling him. I am doing none of this. They called the police on me yesterday saying i was in there yard harrassing the family. The police said if i dont leave them alone they are going to put my infant in DyFs (the state), tow my car and lock me up. How can the police do this if i didnt do any of this. The police would not even listen to me. they said next time they have to come out they are going to lock me up. There was no proof of me doing this. I asked for a Sergent and i was denied one.

What do i do about this?
please tell me if your an officer or not

Does my child’s mother have the right to leave the state of California against a judges order if we have joint?

Thursday, January 27th, 2011

Unfortunately, my 9 year old daughter’s mother is a heroine addict and was ordered by the judge on Dec 31st not to leave the County of San Diego without written permission from me. On January 6th I came home from work and she left a letter stating that she left with my child. she took everything. I have exhausted every possibility. For example, I showed up at the court house on Friday at 6:45am, I waited over 9 hours, at 4pm the ‘extremely rude’ lady peeked her head out and said they will not be seeing anybody else and to not come back until Wed. because they are very busy. I have called the police, the DA’s office. I can not get past the Red Tape, can somebody please get my daughter back. I am losing faith in our justice system. I am about to lose my job because of the toll this is taking, and I am just plain fed up!

Violation Of Custody Court Order?

Tuesday, January 11th, 2011

My ex and I have a five year old together. He sued me in court for visitation rights two years ago. The courts granted him every other weekend. He stopped coming to get her after coming twice. When he would get her, he would take her to his mother’s house and my daughter wouldn’t see him until it was time for him to bring her home. To make a long story short. He went back to jail last year for one year, for possession of a hand gun. He came home and I received a letter in the mail stating that he is suing me in court for violated a court order. What should I do? I do not want him seeing my daughter because he has never stayed out of prison for one year since his 18th B-day. He always get high and he even was in an out-patient drug rehab while he was able to see my daughter. We live in the State of Pennsylvania and we were never married.

How can I file a restraining order against my mother?

Sunday, September 26th, 2010

I’m a 14 year old guy, and my parents have been in the process of getting a legal separation over the past couple months. They have been remarkably civil to each other, and have truly been making this a rather smooth process.

My mother has a rather debilitating injury to her knee, which she got 5 years ago. Long story short, she had the ACL in her leg removed and is now suffering from MRSA, Ecoli, and an unknown Gram-Negative infection. She is also suffering from depression.

Over the last week, we have been coordinating my cousin to visit my home and help me set up and format my new $2,200 iMac which my dad purchased with a tax return. He is a recovering heroin addict, and has been struggling to stay clean, so my dad offered to pay him $100 towards his car so that he could stay clean another 3 days and do some work.

We decided to have a breakfast for him at our house, inviting my 2 aunts and uncle over. They all came over and we had a grand old time, everything was great.

Flashforward to this morning, mom comes over to this house for her nurse to do her PICC line, and my mom fucking explodes. She starts flipping out, taking pictures of the 4 computers that we have (one of which we offered her but she declined) saying that I was a worthless, indignant little bastard and that she hopes I grow up to be homeless like she is.

She started taking pictures of all the things of value in the house, saying that she’d be sure she gets all of them when the divorce goes through (Things that she did NOTHING to help pay for, that my father paid out of pocket.) Note: The reason they’re getting divorced is that my mother rang up over $40k in debt.

She’s just flipping out, screaming and swearing at me, and I’m legitimately scared. How can I file a restraining order?
Sorry, I somehow left out the most important words.

She said that she’d be sure that I “got what I deserved”, and that I “was dealt with”. Rather ambiguous, I know, but still threatening.

By the by, she is also in an investigation regarding her threatening of a Health Insurance managers, threatening to “drive up there and kill her”.

She’s also saying now (calling me repeatedly, making hysterical crying/screaming noises, saying that I was a huge disappointment, and that she is going to kill herself) that she’s going to “come up there and take what’s hers!”.

Do you have to go to court to file for a restraining order on someone?

Thursday, April 22nd, 2010

Out of curiosity. Because my biological mother is a drug addict and I was adopted at birth along with my twin sister, but she has turned up now and claims she wants to be in our lives when she isnt clean and is frankly a bit crazy. But she doesnt give up and keeps harassing my adopted mum to let her see us even though we dont want anything to do with her.

So could we get a restraining order on her, do we have to go to court?

How to Order Your Medications From an Online Pharmacy

Sunday, January 3rd, 2010

Millions of people all around the world are now deciding to use an online pharmacy instead of a local one because they can save a huge amount of money and also get the convenience of home delivery. This means that many others are also considering doing the same. One question that often comes up is exactly how the process works.

The obvious first step is to see your physician and get a prescription for the appropriate drug. Many drugs are not suitable for people with particular pre-existing conditions or currently taking other drugs, so it is always important to get a doctor’s recommendation before getting any prescription medication. Even non-prescription drugs may react with other medications you are taking, so you should consult your local physician before purchasing additional medications, prescription or not.

Once you have received your prescription and know what drug you need for your condition or problem, the next step is to do a little research. Since the primary goal for many people opting to use an online pharmacy is to save money, you should probably learn the generic name of the drug you need. For example, the generic name for Viagra is sildenafil citrate, so if you were shopping around for a generic version of Viagra, you would want to find one that lists sildenafil citrate as its active ingredient. You can usually find the generic name for any brand name medication online.

After you know the generic name for the drug you need, it is time to visit the online pharmacy. Search for the drug you are looking for by both the brand name and the generic name. Most major online pharmacies sell both the name brand versions as well as generics, so hopefully you will get more than one hit from your search. Ensure that the exact item you are looking at – regardless of how it is billed – contains the same active ingredient as the drug you were prescribed. Failure to check for the correct active ingredient may result in buying something that is completely different, though similarly named.

While looking through your options you should also make sure that the dosage amounts are compatible with your prescription. For example, if you are supposed to take five milligrams of whatever drug daily, you should avoid buying it in the form of twenty milligram tablets. Not paying attention to the precise dosage amounts when ordering can result in accidental over or under dosing. Also note that when buying generic versions of some drugs, the dosage may be different than the amount provided when buying the brand name product.

After you have fund the right drug and conformed that it is what you need an in the correct dose, the rest is simply following the directions of the website. Most online pharmacies have a relatively simple, user-friendly shopping interface, though many will require you to register with them – fill out a form and confirm via email – before you can place your order. You may also be required to fax in a copy of your doctor’s prescription or fill out an online questionnaire. However, it is in the interest of the online pharmacy to make the entire process as easy as possible for the customers and most of them do so.
