My mom has a will and i am excutrix. Mom is still living but in a Rehab center, She suffered from a ischemic stroke on March 26th 2007. I need access to her banking to pay bills and to make medical decisions for her due to not able to communicate with the doctors. She is unable to understand or sign her name either. If some one can help I would GREATLY appreciate it!!! Thanks :o)

I never thought there would come a time when I would be worrying about something like this. You see, ever since my mom and dad separated, my mom has turned into a drug addict. Of all the people who could be addicts, I never thought my mom would be one of them. But now here we are, on this road, wanting so much to do what we can in order for her to revert back to her old self. She has already realized the folly of her actions and is now willing to change. Any suggestions as to how to find drug rehabs?
My mother is an addicted Oprah fan… and today she had an appointment during the time i aired. She is very disappointed that she missed it. So i was wondering where i could find the full episode(hopefully) so she may watch it. I have searched You-Tube, Google Video and others but have not found even parts longer than 4 mins. If you have any idea where i might find it, it would really help me. Thanks!
SHould I write a newspaper article, contact the news, etc..? If I don’t get help soon, I will die. I am 33 and believe it or not, am still articulate and preety. My parents used to have money years ago but my Dad did some bad business investments and now we’re broke. My Mom only makes $24,000 as a Catholic school teacher and I cannot work because of my addiction as well as severe depressioin and anxiety. There are cheap treatment centers but they are mainly for street people or people that are court ordered and don’t want to really be there. I want to go somewhere with people who really want to get better. I want to go somewhere comforting, serene, beautifiul with very caring staff that enjoy their jobs. I have found several places that would be perfect but they are around $14,000 a month and I’d atleast need to go 2 months I think. My Mom could probably pay atleast $5000 at the most and that’d still hurt her financially. I have been an addict for almost 20 years and (Cont’d)

I’m at a loss as to how to do this, probably because I’m still reeling from the shock of knowing that my mom is now suffering from alcoholism. I’ve been living away from her for the past few years, and we get in touch frequently. Last night, though, she called me up and cried on the phone because she’s having a really hard time getting her act together. She wants to get herself treated and I told her I’ll help in finding an alcohol rehab. How will I do this?
I need to do this for my dad. Ever since my mom left us, he has been indulging in all sorts of alcoholic beverages. It’s so uncharacteristic of him to do this, but I guess this is what happens when people get heartbroken and can’t take the pain. I really want to help him, which is why I’m trying to convince him to get himself treated at an alcohol rehab. I just know he’s going to relent soon. I just need to find a rehab that would be right for him. How?
and you can see the person’s life has turned around, do you let your significant other back into your life? im only 18. im not married but i was wondering how anyone would handle this situation. lets say you have kids. would you risk your children seeing their mother or father relapse for the sake of letting your kids know both their parents?

This is for my mom. She was really lively way back when my brother was still here. But then they had this really big fight and my brother eloped with his girlfriend. Ever since then, my mom has pretty much indulged in alcoholic drinks and just plain wasted her day away. I hate seeing her like this– it pains me too much. I’m determined on getting her sober life back. I already talked to her and I think that she needs only a little more encouragement. So I want to start finding alcohol rehabs already. How will I do this?
My counselor told me I need to find a mother figure.
growing up my mother was a terrible addict (selfish,didnt tend to my sister or I)

I want to turn my father in. His drinking habits are really affecting the family. He’s become temperamental and violent that he gets upset about the tiniest things. Like, just the other night, he punched my brother just because he asked for money to spend for his science project. My mom died a few years ago and I don’t know what else to do. I’m really worried about the future of our family.
I really want to help my mom. She miscarried a baby– my brother– and this has really been so hard on her. She has gotten really depressed and has turned to alcohol for comfort. Sometimes, I couldn’t even go near her because she becomes violent. Last night, though, she talked to me and told me that she no longer wants to live her life that way. She promises to become better and to take care of us the way she has always done before. I really want to put her in the best alcohol rehab possible.
This is for my mom. Ever since she and my dad separated, she has been turning to alcohol more and more. She wasn’t an alcoholic before, but now she is. I am unfairly caught in the middle. My EX- boyfriend is a 31 yr old drug addict. He has gone off on a binge for weeks. The last time I went to his apartment to check on him he angrily gave me his puppy, saying he can’t care for him right now. Worried about the pups safety. I immediately contact bf’s mother about what to do. She expressed to me verbablly that while she loves the dog she can’t care for him. I couldn’t care for the pup permanently because I live with a roomate who is afraid of dogs. Bf’s mother gave me instructions to find him a good home. I checked and doubled checked with his mother to confirm if she felt comfortable with me finding the puppy an new home. I have emails and txts where she again tells me she thinks that finding the pup a home would be best…So I did find the pup a great home. Its been 4 days and the daughter has already become attached to the pup, they called me to update me on how the pup is doing and thank me for bringing the dog into their lives.
Now my bf’s mother is harassing me to get dog back from new owner, saying she made a mistake, wants to keep the dog in the family.. She put me in an awful position but I contacted the new owner, explained my ex’s mothers remorse. The new owner says she feels horrible but wants to keep the dog because her daughter is already attached. Does the new owner have to give back the dog?
Mother is threatening to call the cops on me, find the new owner etc. etc. Mother has PHOTOCOPIES of paperwork for dog ie. vet bills, health records but I gave the new owner the ORIGINALS of this paperwork..does the new owner have rights to keep dog? I feel terrible for both sides but the mother made a major decision and its not fair to hold me accountable or harass me if the new owner wants to keep the dog…
