We separated May 31 and he lives with his mom. He always despised Facebook and now he is on there constantly, reconnecting with his old high school friends. Yesterday he put his cell number on there and it angers me. His mom is also angry and wants to keep more tabs on him. He says he “parties” but she says he is almost always @ her house hanging out with his step-dad. I asked for a divorce and he said “you can file too” and his mom/sister talked me out of filing.. And he just went nuts. His mom says he is lonely living with her, but he doesnt want to come back home he says. He went on Myspace binge a few months ago where he acted up, now he’s doing it with Facebook. Its not right!
His cell number, and other info used to be a military secret to him and I asked him if he was excited about the divorce and he said “I dont wanna talk about it, change the subject”.
I don’t really want one. But he is an idiot and treats me like garbage and said he hates his entire family. I still love him.. but he hates everyone!

Today my mom posted something on my face book that said “Edmort get your *** of face book and give your grandma a sponge bath!” I had a horrible day :(

So I LOVE FACEBOOK! and now i think i am getting really serious because i can’t feel happy without using facebook for about an hour or 2. so i always sneak in through the phone lol. but i want to stop, but its turns worser because i keep tricking my mother into letting me use the internet for homework, but i’m doing facebook,yahoo answers, and other stufff. so i want to stop. i don’t think i am addicted to facebook, but i think i am….?
and any advices to help me stop using facebook too much? ( i’m in the 11th grade and have homework about every single day, and i have two weeks to get at least a B on english and math class, or i would have to go to summer school.) please help me.

My mother won’t allow me to have a Facebook, because when I had myspace, which was almost four years ago, I did and said some immature things. I’m older now, almost 17 to be exact, and I’m ready to have one. I know that facebook is addictive and all, but I know I won’t get addicted because I hate Facebook. The only reason I want one, is so I can stay in touch with two of my best friends, they both live in different states, and the guy I like, facebook is the only site he has a account on. So how can I get my mother to be cool with me creating a Facebook?

I need to know how to contact someone working with facebook. My mom is literally addicted to the game Mafia Wars on facebook. That’s all she does. It’s hurting our family and I want to email someone. Even to see if they could just shut it down for like a day? Like Christmas? I’d like for my mother to be present during Christmas instead of upstairs playing that damn game. Because that’s how she spent thanksgiving. HELP!

My name is Jennifer and my mommy’s name is Brenda. I’m sixteen years old. I just want to write something on her wall not just like hey mom i love you, something a little more than that. She was basically both parents for fourteen years. My dad was an alcoholic ( he’s sober and there for me now though) She knows she means the world to me but i just want to remind her that i love her and thank her for always being there and doing EVERYTHING for me.

I get that teens like to have a good time and talk about having had a good time, but why on earth would you post about it when you know damn well that your parents can read it? Of course, all she had to say is that her post was a joke and her mom bought it…

Okay, so my mom was recently invited to facebook by one of her friends, she has only been on it for 2 days ad she is already addicted to it. It’s kinda creepy.
She even started yelling at me because i didn’t know how to upload a picture. What do I do?!?

I’m 15 and my mother is 41. I have had a myspace account as well as a facebook account for several years now. I check each dayly and talk to friends view pictures etc. for roughly 30 minutes to an hour. My mother does not have a myspace account but she does have a facebook. I’m a sophomore in highschool at the moment, and she is 41 years old and married. She spends roughly 7 or 8 hours on facebook every day. When I come home I find her on facebook. At night, I find her on facebook. And on weekend mornings I walk into our den to find her on facebook. Now don’t get me wrong, I spend a lot of time on my computer, but she has become obsessive. It is really worrying me and starting to bother me. She never spends time with my sisters or my father or me because she is always on Facebook. She enjoys playing the games, or so she says. I have a few other friends who have mothers that spend time on Facebook but no where near as long and mine. Will you please give me advice as to what I can do? or why she might be so addicted?
