i have lots of pressure from my drunk mother ( but i moved out ) and i live with my boyfriend. my boyfriend stresses me out sometimes. i JUST started smoking. i am very small for my age. 5ft. and 110 pounds. i am very scared that i will get lung cancer because my lungs are probably very small also i really dont know. but i really need to stop being so stressed about stupid negative thoughts. if i only smoke a little, like a cigarette a day, or every other day, what are my chances of getting something wrong with me?

my mum drinks 1-2 full bottles of wine everyday at nightime , She is unhealthy and is overweight , i tell her that she is drinking too much and iam worried about the damage of her liver but she still dont care and has a bottle of wine later

well my parents got a divorce about 4 years ago… and ever since then she has been drinking ALOT! when my parents were together she never drank at all…. so when they broke up she sid she felt “free” and that she wanted to have fun (she left him) but shes gone alittle bit to far… she never has anymoney, she has to borrow money off of me and my sister, not to mention me and my sister are just getting by with the little money we have. although my mom still goes to work she is always drunk after work everyday… she only calls me when shes drunk or when she needs money.. what should I do?
I have tried to talk to her about it and she just says “I work for a living so why cant I have a few beers when I get home?”

My dad gets drunk and becomes very angry and abusive. Not really towards us girls (his daughters) but My brother and him do get into fist fights quite often and my dad beats up his girlfriend’s SEVERLY. That is why my mother left him after 22 years and that is why his current girlfriend left him. We can’t sit him down and have a serious conversation with him and tell him we are worried about him or afraid of him because then he will get angry again and blame it on us or tell us he is going to kill our animals or he will tell us to get out. What should I do with this situation. He is making everyone’s life HELL. Thanks.
Also…we have thrown him in jail well OVER 20 times and everytime the cops either release him that night or the following morning and he is after us for putting him there. We have thrown him in jail so many times that he has had to do Anger Management for 1 year and he still holds that against us. I have contacted an undercover cop to ask what to do and they said that there is really nothing they can do until one of us is extremly injured. Some of us can’t make it on our own at the moment. He knows that and that’s why he tells us to get out. He knows we will be homeless.
Also…my mother moved to Texas and is now with a new man. We live in Colorado..she just left us. His current girlfriend has no place to live, she is staying with her friend. My dad’s parent’s know about the abouse and when we tell them, they just shake their head but never offer advice. We have no one to help us really. I know this is bad but all 3 of us kids dropped out of school due to the lack of parental guidence in the house. My family on my mother’s side also know about the abuse but as well, are unwilling to help us. They were unwilling to even help my mother, that’s why she escaped by meeting a man on the internet and moving in with him.
Also, the local homeless shelters are full. I’m looking for someone to give me an answer or advice to out smart him and put him in jail for a LONG time or change him from his EVIL ways

I just want to know what it feels like to have a mom who loves you, and who you love as well. I’m 15, and I only knew my mom for 4 years, during that time she was an abusive drunk with an abusive boyfriend. I don’t know if this sounds weird or not, I’m just curious how it feels.

and why? Do they realize 18-20 year olds are officially adults under the law? Should that bracket of adults be treated like like criminals and not citizens? Have they ever thought about that? If anyone drives drunk or commits crimes from alcohol, its always bad whether your 18, 21, 55, or 100. Shouldnt it be made illegal for them too since lots of them also to the same thing? Maybe the fatalities of drunk driving will go down.

My mum has a drink problem. She doesn’t see it as a problem, and therefore no help is available. I left home at 16 to get away from her. I’m at uni now, living with my partner. But she’ll drink, and call me/text me and shout about how my partner isn’t grateful for any help she’s given us (when she’s sober) and then about how I don’t love her. But sometimes she’ll say “Goodbye” and she threatens suicide. I’m over 100 miles away and can’t run home to check. Her mother commited suicide when I was 5, and I have taken her to hospital several times when I was living at home when she was suspected of trying to overdose. Will she ever go through with it? It scares me silly! But I don’t want to spend the rest of my life worrying about her – but if something does happen I’ll feel guilty! (Another complex she gave me!) As well as this, teher are other ways she seeks attention – by saying she might have cancer etc. I’m tired of it, and want to have my own life. What should I do?

Ok the mother cat only has two nipples and is feeding six kittens we have supplemented when we needed to but they wont take a bottle so when can I start them on regular food or get them to drink formula without having to force it. They are three weeks old.

My mother in law explains that once in awhile i should buy my children Mcdonalds, Or some other Fast food joint. I limit the amount of soda & juice,and potato chips in my house. I want my children to be healthy. She said let them be kids, eat junk all day. However, my husband agrees with me, who do you agree with?

My cat gave birth a few hours ago. There is only one kitten. I’m not surprised because the mother is young, but what I am wondering is why the kitten won’t drink from it’s mother. I’ve tried redirecting the newborn to multiple nipples but he is still uninterested and will not feed. Is this normal? It’s really worrying me.
