Why do certain ethnic groups get so pissed when you make fun of their mothers?

If someone were to say, “Your mom smokes crack”, “Your mom smokes pole”, or anything else diragatory about my mother, I fail to understand why someone would get angry.
Who cares what anyone thinks about your mother (or anyone else in your family). Just because loser nitwit says something about your mother doesn’t mean it’s true…getting angry just validates what the person said…
So what’s the deal? Why do certain ethnic groups get so offended when you make fun of mothers. To be truthful, the more they get angry, the more I just want to do it…’Cause it makes me laugh!!
**Lots of people might get offended, but certain ethnic groups are notorious…for instance, go to Mexico and answer, “yer’ mom” to any question and you will get your @ss kicked…or Bolivia…or Chile…
It isnt because of the actual your mom thing…I believe it is more of a respect issue and when you disrespect people they get angry…..lol
What you are describing is a form of taunting. The results will speak for themselves.
Its just nature to be protective of your parents I would think, but maybe thats not it.
It’s all about respect
Maybe for the same reason some men get all upset and defensive if you make a joke that they’re gay, and other guys shrug it off.
Maybe these “ethnic groups” have more respect for their mothers than you, and won’t stand to be disrespected. What’s the deal anyway? Are you going around the world telling mama jokes and seeing what happens? I’m curious as to how you narrowed this problem down to specific races.
Because people from those countries have less self-control than other people.
It is considered a very high form of disrespect in ANY culture, it just depends on the individual. There are certain cultures that revere the role of a mother more than others however, so maybe thats where the anger comes in at . . . . . . . it’s almost sacred to the point of worship. I mean that in the sense of if someone made a vulgar or disrespectful thing about GOD or Muhammed or whomever someone worships, they’d be pretty riled up. Same goes for mothers, fathers, etc. . . . . .its a sensitive subject even when 99% of the time teh statement is completely untrue.
Do you belong to an ethnic group? (You do, you know, everyone does.) Is your mother a b***h? How do you like it?
