Will Isopropryl Alcohol help clear my face of acne?

My mom says pouring alcohol on cotton balls and rubbing it on my face will clear up my acne. Will it?
If it won’t what are some things that will?

   Just get some of those Stridex or Oxy pads and use them twice a day after you wash your face really well.

   Unlikely, all it will do is over dry your skin causing it to produce even more oil and will probably make the problem worse.

   it will help to dry the acne up but intern it will also dry out your face so use a moisturizer too. one time a friend of mine dyed my hair and got the dye all over my face, she went to use som nail polish remover to get the dye off and “accidentally” poured it all over my face… but ill tell you i didnt have acne for weeks.. so maybe try using that on a cotton ball.
