Can you get addicted to drugs if you try them once & ONLY ONCE?

he…this a stupid question reckless question and i know it but ive never tried any drugs …and i think its really retarded to do so … and theres no point to it…& now u’ll probably think im crazy but its alrite i just want you to stick to the point … I want to try Heroin or ecstasy to see what it feels like … but just only once…& i dont think ill get addicted by just trying it i think im strong enough to lay off of it… and not do it again…i feel very positive about the fact that i know i wont become addicted just by trying any of these 2 drugs…but i was talking to my friend da other day and he said “believe me ive had friends who only wanted to try it and they r either dead now or who knows where…
See now i dont want that to happen to me… & dont think im a stupid reckless Teenager just like everyone else… but b/c of the way i live … the way my mom has raised me and b/c of the mental strength i believe i have.. i think i wont become an addict …& that if after i try it i cant stop myself from keep doing drugs ill get help myself..or i will tell my friends da first time i do it ..so if anything THEY help ME…
Now just people please try to stick to my question … & if u havent experienced any of these or have any friends that have been thru it your answer really doesnt matter to me…but thanks anyway …i want some good..Real Life experience Answers thanks ;)
You can… and it’s even more likely if drug addictions run in the family (it’s actually hereditary, especially alcoholism).
Harsh drugs like ecstasy and heroin are especially damaging to the body, plus they cause you to do stupid things.
Kids at my school go to ecstasy parties (don’t remember what they call them..) and almost everybody ends up having sex (even if they don’t know that person or weren’t planning on doing it) just because it feels especially good then.. because it makes your body super sensitive. So that’s a stupid reason to do that crap.. You’ll regret the stuff you do for sure. Plus, overdosing on those drugs is easier than any other drug (unless you’re completely reckless and take a bottle of pills) and it happens more often.
Doing drugs of any kind is bad road to head down.. Even if you just try it once. There has been drug use in my family and it’s torn us apart.. Trust me, it’s not something you should do.
And I’m a teenager too! So I know what it’s like to feel pressured into things and even just curious to try stuff out, but in the long run, it’s realllyyyyy not worth it at all!
I don;t think so. I think some people like the reaction they get when they do drugs and then they keep doing drugs and this is when they get addicted. But I think It is stupid to do drugs especially when you see around people that look so bad, have AIDS and other things that are doing drugs. You don’t wanna look that, right?> well just don’t do it. it is a waste of money too!!!! I had a friend a while ago that tried ecstasy and she never did it again because she said it was crazy. She could see things, like ugly animals, hear voices, holes in the ground, doors and windows on the wall and things like that, she lost control of herself.
