If I call the cops on someone using heroin will they even care.?

My mother & brother in law are both on heroin. I want to call the cops and have them busted, but i’m not sure they will respond to the call.
They have an 8 month old, and a 3 years old living in the house. They neglect both children, and abuse the 3 year old. I already called children’s services about the abuse, and all they got was probation.
Something really needs to happen here for the children’s sake. I could really care less if they both overdosed today, and died. But I will not just sit back and let these children suffer. Please give me any advise you may have.
Yea or call SRS, one of them is going to show up.
wow??? call the cops man… it will effect the children REALLY badly… please call the cops.. they should be put in jail.. they shouldnt abuse kids..
I don’t know how your local police force works, but where I live, the police are more interested as to why I would want to turn someone in. Our local police don’t want to be bothered with anything.

If they are busted again, they will be found in violation of that probation.
The cops may not make an arrest, but they tend to focus their narcotics investigations into areas where complaints like yours are high.
Keep calling Child Protective Services. If you can afford to raise the kids, you could sue for custody. Or see if another relative is willing to take them in. You could call the cops, and hopefully they’ll both be charged with child endangerment.
You will get the cops attention if you imply there is a large amount of dope and\or money involved; if there is nothing in it for them, they could care less.
