My mother is on alot of drugs all at once, what should I do, and can I force her into rehab?
August 11th, 2010My mother is on alot of pills. Four are prescribed to her ( Klonopin (clonazepam), Soma (carisoprodol), Ultram (tramadol), buspar), Two are not ( trazodone, valium (diazepam) ), The two she is not prescribed she steals from her job, she works with mentally disabled people. To top it all off, she smokes alot of pot as well, thankfully, she doesn’t drink. I am concerned for her, and the mentally disable people she is supposed to be taking care of, for they are not getting the meds they are suppose to, and she is taking meds that are not meant for her. What are my options here? My boyfriend and I are really at our wits end on what to do to/for her.
Tell her to go to rehad willingly or you will turn her into her employer. She should not be working with the mentally handicapped. OR you can just look the other way until she OD’s or thrown in jail
she could end up in prison for stealing medication, it needs sorting now. tell her you love her and if she doesnt go to rehab you are turning her into the police. she may loose her job if she is unstable, but its got to be better than prison.
She could die taking all those pills ,and even worse she can die if she stops if she has been taking then for a long period of time ,some of those are crazy pills and can change her brain chemistry forever,,pot is a little stronger than a cigarette
a guy had a million dollar hemp farm in the 20′s and thought he could corner the market on hemp products if he got it banned told every one that it made you crazy made a movie ”reefer madness”about it and got it banned
you and another relative can force her in to rehab 2 immediate family signatures on some paperwork
and the white coats will go get her or that’s how it worked years back
call around the rehabs and hospitals to see your options
