Ok so I have been doing online research on what is wrong with me because I am constantly feeling lonely, isolated, and pretty much depressed. I also have looked through the symptoms of binge eating disorder and I have all of those symptoms. My mom is not around when I binge and I just say that I am tired if she asks if I am alright. I am afraid to tell her how I have been feeling lately because I do not want her to worry even though she probably won’t believe me because she almost never believes me when I say some kind of negative opinion or something she does not know about. I dont know…I mean I know I need help but then again I am one of those people who are afraid to take action towards something I need or want. What should I do?

My mother is on alot of pills. Four are prescribed to her ( Klonopin (clonazepam), Soma (carisoprodol), Ultram (tramadol), buspar), Two are not ( trazodone, valium (diazepam) ), The two she is not prescribed she steals from her job, she works with mentally disabled people. To top it all off, she smokes alot of pot as well, thankfully, she doesn’t drink. I am concerned for her, and the mentally disable people she is supposed to be taking care of, for they are not getting the meds they are suppose to, and she is taking meds that are not meant for her. What are my options here? My boyfriend and I are really at our wits end on what to do to/for her.

My mom has been in and out of the hospital for drinking related issues. She just went back in for DT’s. She knows she has a problem but refuses to go to rehab because she had a bad experience before when she was forced to go. She just says she’s depressed and will go to a psychiatrist, increase her meds, go to meetings, etc. But this has not worked for her in the past. She needs to get help or she will die.

What are the psychological consequences of a kid, who was say, adopted at 8 and had an alcoholic, previously heroin addicted birth mother, and never knew their father? Anyone experienced in psychology or social work or something could help.
Was anyone adopted when they were a kid, what has your life been like after that?

Hi, I have SSI (Supplemental Security Income) and cannot work. I live with my mother but her alcoholism is starting to get on my nerves to the point of wanting to hurt her. Since there’s no law against getting drunk and sponging off of your son’s disability money, I have to move away. But I don’t make enough to get an apartment. What other choices do I have besides being homeless?

Ok I hate my aunt!!! I hate her to death!!! She is a loud mouth, obnoxious, disrespectful, crack smoking prostitute ( and I’m not just saying that cause i’m mad it’s the GOD honest truth)! I want her to just go away just vanish. I never really got along with my aunt. I kinda did when I was a child, but I guess she changed as I got older. She smokes crack as far back as I can remember. She’s a prostitute, but not a typical prostitute on the corner, she sleeps with married men people who she knows husbands even family members and they give her money. She only charges them 10-20 dollars, when she gets the money she goes and buy her crack with it. She’s been doing this FOREVER as long as I can remember. She doesn’t really work she works for this man who has a little cleaning company and he’s pays her hardly nothing when she gets the money she goes buy crack with that. She lives in a Free home that was left to her my mother and the rest of their siblings when my grandparents died. The only person stays there is her and another one of my aunts. The only thing she has to pay is half on the utilities she can’t even do that, and they stay arguing all the time about that. She comes to our home everyday her voice is SO loud and she has a very obnoxious attitude. She comes here everyday to use the phone to call her drug dealers and call her “clients” she has sex with. We live so close to each other so it’s really hard to get away from her. THE ONLY and I mean THE ONLY reason I still live with my parents at my age is because is suffer from depression and anxiety since the age of 9. I know this is my mother’s sister but It’s not right that she’s allowed to come here when my mother knows how her sister is. She gets under their skin too. I think she intimates them. I have got to do something. I don’t know what to do.

How should I handle this situation? Can the law do something??? Please give me some ideas if you can, because I can’t take this????

THIS SITUATION IS WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY WORSE THEN HOW I’M EXPALINING IT I’M JUST TRYING TO MAKE IT SHORT!!!

Apperenlt, there is some adult craze over Farmville.
She’s spent money for farmville, and we just came home from Vacation, and she was on farmville. She even brought her computer down to the beach to play on it. It’s caused her to miss work, and she get’s upset and angry, almost violent, when I try telling her of her problem. What should I do?

My mom has been severely depression for the past several years. She has many issues. Alcohol is an issue to. She has lost numerous jobs due to not going to work because she got to drunk the night before. It has affected her relationship with my dad (they are seperated). She is suppose to start a new job monday (i doubt that will last). She has no insurance. My mom needs help and i dont know what do. Where can she go. I know she wont go to AA, but she needs help like talking to a counselor or something. Please any advice!!!
