My dad was arrested a month ago for a DUI. Since then he has been calling the house phone every few days, and my mom refuses to accept the call. She told me that if I accepted a call, there would be severe consequences.
My heart is aching because of this. I know it’s kinda expensive to accept collect calls, but I don’t like that my dad isn’t able to talk to us.
Also, my mom is really upset and filing for divorce over his alcoholism.
