18yr old at a party, alcohol, and my mom there plus cops?

im having a halloween party and im having it at my moms house in the garage. my mom knows about the party and she will be upstairs with some of her friends.
a lot of my friends are bringing alcohol. my mom says she can be put into jail and or get the house taken away from her…is this true?
and if it is true, what loop-holes are there to keep my mom from getting into trouble for my friends drinking??
besides; if my friends are 18 and over, isn’t their chose and responsibility of their actions?
wow so young……. DUH if your mom knew about the alcohol she can be charged as an accessory to distributing alcohol to minors…..and dearie……it doesnt matter if they are over 18, 21 is the legal limit…..they would get in just as much trouble as well….
Just tell your friends to drink before they get there.
NO — it is NOT their choice (the friends) at all.
YOUR MOTHER is the Homeowner — and if underage drinking occurs — YES, she CAN get Jailed, she CAN lose HER HOME .. and her JOB and everything she has worked hard for all her life.
DO NOT have these ‘so-called’ friends over .. it is that simple. RESPECT the hard-working parent who has been RESPONSIBLE Parent through it all.
These are NOT ‘friends’ — they are just alcoholics – and they definitely will NOT respect your MOTHER, your Mother’s HARD WORK .. the HOME or anything else.
KEEP SAFE — which is why your mother is offering to “host” a SAFE party for you!
no , i’m guessing where you live the legal age is 21 ? ( that sucks if it is!)
if so then no its still under your moms watch .
Isn’t 21 the legal age for consumption of alcohol? And why are your friends starting to drink so young then? Please don’t create any trouble for my mum. One of my friends messed with alcohol when he was only 16. I almost wanted to report them when i found out, but somehow the police came to know of it. Unless you want an ugly scar on your record or your mum to be in trouble, no alcohol please.
aww poor you, our legal drinking age is 18! hehe the cops probably wont fine you, i have been to heaps of parties where the cops have turned up and caught everyone drinking, they just break up the party. I think you can only get fined if you drink in public areas like a park.
