D-Facs came to my house and they got me in even more trouble and I talk to my counselors and my teacher.

I have been asking for help since 2005

I’m 20 years old and a year ago my father passed away, completely destroying my mother. A few months later, still vulnerable and weak at heart, she was reunited with an old boyfriend at a bar. Long story short, he has my mother addicted to medication (along with her drinking) and has her completely under control. She has made numerous comments in sober moments that she wants to leave him. A few days ago he physically and verbally attacked both my mother and I and I was forced to leave the situation. My mother, still under the delusion that he has manifested in her mind, refuses to leave even when the whole family came to intervene. It’s became clear and apparent that I need to take this to a legal matter but, having never dealt with this myself, I don’t know where to begin. Does anyone know who in particular I would need to speak with to take legal action against the monster that is devouring my mom. Please, I am desperate for help and I feel this is my last door to open for her – after this, I have to leave her to deteriorate. Thank you all for anyone who replies (or even read all of this).

My mother, my brother and I live in a house together. About 4 years ago my father bought a house and decided to put it in his, my brother’s, and my mother’s names (equally). About 2 years ago, my mother became addicted to drugs.

She maxed out all joint accounts with her children ($40k total) in less than 3 months, she took out all of her RRSPs (has nothing to show for over 100k) and lost her car and job. She now has the garage set up where her and her crackhead friends live.

The police have been by many times but will not touch that case. They say since she owns part of the house, she is entitled to have whoever on the property, whenever, for any reason. This is a problem because now they have started stealing the power from the house (which my dad pays (last months power bill was +$800)), the cable and the internet. The cops say that if she wants, she has the right to move all the crackheads in here if she pleases (stupid bitch cop) and now we have a real problem on our hands because this is potentially going to become a reality.
Are there any Canadian Property Legal experts out there who can give us a hand here? Or does anyone at all have any idea what kind of actions we can take to end this all?
We have tried calling many lawyers in the past, but none return calls once they hear what we’re dealing with, as ownership issues tend to be a hard win. However, I’m at my end… Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

She was thinking of calling her tomorrow since its her mom’s Birthday. Should she call her , or continue to not talk to her at all?

i dont mean just the child abuse that is found in lower class trailors with meth addicts. but child neglect happens in so called good families who go to good schools. so what is it? do these kids grow up and acheive some or alot of sucess just by being around good families and schools and opportunities despite how evil the parents are and one day realized thta they never had a chance… it catches up to them?
is it a failure of a father? a narcissistic mother? a mother guilting their children for life until they kil themselves for the fathers lacking?
i think i have a bad COMBINATION of things in my parents total trainwreck of a marriage that they insist on beating and beating everything more and more.

my sister is a sociopath personality. DEEP seeded shit in the mother. and she caused me all kinds of hell but eventually was like crossing the streams in ghostbusters to my head. the father is a failure as a father and the mother perhaps does have traumatizing things from a child rape? but she is crazy as hell, narcissistic… too embarassed to get help or talk about anything.. she CANT let go.. i have never heard her breath easy. she is in politics now too!!! what a fucked up world/country. perhaps she had children or did one thing after another to counter the fathers failure(s) or further denial by not opening up to friends.. she has friends who is a female judge and all about flashing money. her kids are flat out evil shits.. they will walk into a room univited and break things and laugh. aunts, unclesand grandparents r bett

They are 13 and 14 girl and boy. Their mom has not had custody of them. They visit on weekends and in the summer. The only reason my stepdaughter goes over is to see her friends. My step son wants to rescue her and save her from herself once he graduates. They have caught her using, found her drugs, and have confronted her. As they don’t live there, there is no reason for us to push for custody, and it is up to the kids if they want to go over there or not. But she is worthless. She has 6 kids total. 2 are twins and 9years old. 2 are my step kids. And 2 are kids of the jerk off she married. We raised all of them for about 3 years, then told her to find someone else to raise the ones that didn’t belong to my husband. CYS has been called about the twins having bruises and scratches and all, the school that they go to called. She is a crackhead, and worthless as a parent. She has no morals or values herself, and lets all kids in her house run free. My step kids have confronted her about drug use numerous times and she just makes up bs and tells them to stay the eff out of her business. I think she is the scum of the earth. They live off of welfare, trade food stamps for coke and pills, and lie about working so that they can get as much govt aid as possible. My step kids do know that their mom is an addict, that it is a disease, and that they cant fix her. But they adore her, my stepson in particular. She may have been a good mom once in a great great while, but is not from day to day or even year to year. She refuses to have birthday parties, doesn’t get them anything for birthdays or holidays, doesn’t read to the younger ones, just gets high all night and sleeps all day. Why are they so loyal to such a piece of dirt? They do know that I hate the way she is. I do not and will not apologize for that so if that is your advice save it. She has come into my house threatening me, tried to drag me out of a car…she is out there and always wants to fight about anything. I didnt instigate, or even respond anymore…its just not worth it. My husband doesn’t want to keep them from their mom, so he leaves it up to them. I just despise her. They are old enough to see her for what she is, so why is it that they even bother. She steals from them, borrows money and wont give it back. They are dumb and keep giving it to her despite our warnings. When will they realize that she is just a worthless junkie and not worth saving?
