My mom was a 40 year alchoholic, addicted to percocets, then taken off all cold turkey. She also had a broken neck for a year. She started having sezures and hallucinations. They now have her on zyprexa(highest dose) and epival(highest dose). She was never psycotic before. My nana had died too which set extreme grief for my mom (she soley care for her alone for 20 yrs)I feel because of an accident at the nursing home(windows were not regulated, mom fell out broke her back) they medicate her up.They don’t listen when I say you’ve ripped her off one set and put her on another set of drugs. They say she is bipolar and psycotic just never diagnosed(for 62 yrs?! labeling is dangerous see?!) I want to see if I can find her. Yes she has braindamage but doping her like a zombie will never heal her. She is a very strong person, always has been. Can she mend? Is she being too medicated unnecissarily? Doctors stick together–I do not want a court case–I just want my mother back! Thanks

i dont know what too do withdrawl is killing me so bad my head hurts i cant stop crying ehh my spine stings like hekk i was taking them because a friend was giving them too me for my spine pain and i told the doctor something was wrong with my back but they allways turned me down ………….now i got em from someone else and i had became addicted and im in so much pain is there anything i can take to make these withdrawls go away

My mom has been addicted to World of Warcraft for over a year now. It’s all she ever talks about and all she ever does. This is one of the hardest things I have had to deal with in my 20 years on earth, even though my father is an alcoholic. I have no idea what to do to help her. My mom got worse after I moved away in September of 2005, I moved back in September of 2006 and I didn’t know how bad it was as I only visited twice in the year that I lived about 300 miles away. Now I am back living at “home” until my boyfriend and I can get a place of our own. It is terrible seeing her as a zombie, she used to be so healthy and full of life. Now, she even takes days off work if something goes wrong in the game (usually something with her guild), and she took a day off when the expansion came out. The depth of the problem is so hard to get into. I don’t know what to do. I am pregnant with her first grandchild and she doesn’t even seem to care, as it is not WoW related. I am so hurt.

My mother is a meth addict, has hep c and is recently homeless. She is a very sensitive person and very selfish. I refuse to let her come stay with me. I have two children of my own. She is careless when it comes to her hep c like picking at her crank sores and bleeding all over. I will not let my children kiss her or her them. She is homeless by her own choice. She knew for more than a month that she had to be out of her house and didn’t do anything about it. She still hasn’t done anything to find another place to live. She is now blaming me because she is still sleeping in her truck. Plus she is involved in things that could get her killed. Her drug addiction is out of control. Just this weekend she was so high she had no control over her body movements and she threatened to kill my grandma over money. My view on it is, my children are my responsibility, she’s not and I need to protect my children. What should I do, if anything?

father lost custody after a long court battle. has paid child support regularly now grandparents looking for money for college, have refused to let the father have any contact with the children citing they wish to have none. They say they cannot work out anything without the court as they are not custodial parents. Who would be the custodial parent??? Does the father need the court to enforce supervised visitation?? Is he responsible for college as it is not stipulated in the divorce???

This happened a few days ago. Now she is having seizures and saying things that don’t make sense. Is this what happens during detox and are these withdrawal symptoms? Where can I get more information about this?
she was taking Xanax, Vicodine and somas…not sure what else

he drinks everyday ,and does drugs cocaine,he has a job but not for long he lives with my mom and she’s fed up with it but wont kick him out i guess it’s a bond issue help!
