Websites for family trying to cope with a toddler child abandoned by drug addict mother?

My nephew is 3 1/2 and his mom left him 6 months ago. She is heavily involved in drugs. He has had no contact with her but occasionally speaks about her. He is in a stable environment and well taken care of although we are trying to find information on counseling or therapy for him. Because of his age and all he has been through we don’t know what would be a benefit to him. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!

   Believe me, what you are doing to him right now just by taking him in and cares for him is helping him. He needs TLC and thank you for being there for him. I used to be a foster mom and I know how children felt when they are not with their biological parents but I tried by best to be there for them. We are not trying to replace their parent, but we are here to show them that they deserve to have a life and a loving enviroment. Good job with what you have done.
