for example, if the mother is addicted to something and falls pregnant there is an incredibly high chance that the baby will be addicted to the drug from birth and will have severe complications and may even die as a baby, so in these cases are you for or against abortion?
I’ll give an example a woman is on abut 3 different recreational drugs and at her ultrasound they found that the baby will have lung problems and heart problems and would be lucky to survive to their first birthday, would it be morally wrong (in your opinion) for her to have an abortion

Doesn’t matter what she’s taking, alcoholics (who have the most deformed babies from their substance abuse) desire their babies and we don’t require termination.
The right to choose is the right to choose, for whatever reason – it’s up to her not us for a damn good reason.

I would still be totally against abortion give the child a chance. I have a few family members where they were heavy on drugs and still had there children and till this day you cant see nothing is wrong with them if something is wrong with them. I would give the child a chance it’s not their fault their mother choose to make the wrong decision at the time. And it’s not always proven that the child will have complications once ready to be born.
I am always pro-choice. But I think that it sad when someone decides that abortion is their only option.
Until quickening abortion is her business, not yours. There is no baby involved…. a fetus is not human… it feels nothing, sees nothing, hears nothing, and is a parasite in every sense of the word.

im for abortion anyway but yes defiantly, there is a chance the baby will live but a great chance of something wrong happening like disease, damage, failure, and the baby most likely will go through withdraw.
even if the mother was put in rehab during pregnancy she would go through withdrawal and that would put stress on her body endangering her and baby
Im pro choice. so i believe that its a womens choice to abort or keep the pregnancy whether she is addicted to drugs or not.

Is it ok to kill the mother? I mean she is an addict and could have complications. It is very unfortunate for this to happen, “crack babies” suffer alot after birth and many have to continue to remain on drugs until they can slowly be taken away to prevent them from dying. The good news is that the majority, with a but more effort, can grow up normally ( given the mother isnt in the picture) and be just fine. Why not adoption? Even though I dont agree with abortion, I definitely dont think the selfish idiotic person who conceived needs to be in that childs life. Whats next after doing drugs while pregnant? Sell the baby for a fix? Leave them abandoned while the mother is high? That mom gives up all rights to that blessing once she puts the baby in danger.

I have seen quite a few babies whose mothers were drug addicts, mainly cocaine and heroine. The affect that it has on these babies is extreme. They go through withdrawal symptoms which is a terrible thing to watch a newborn have to deal with such pain through no fault of its own. Also often they can not even lay their heads down as all the muscles in their backs and necks are so tense from the drugs. There are so many horrible birth defects that these drugs can cause and often the children will have learning or social difficulties as they grow older.
Is it right to abort the child because of the mothers foolishness? I honestly can’t say.
well to be honest i dont think is the right thing to do because the babys dont have the fault that the parent is a drug addict and im totally against abortion but if you really think about it the only person that is going to suffer the most is the baby..first of all because there is a big chance the baby can become addict to what ever the mom is consuming..second of all if the baby aint addicted either way the baby is actually going to come out deform and theres alot of people in this world that dont respect that and make fun of every person they see like this..is too much for a lx baby to take but like i said i aint against abortion but i dont think is a good idea to have it either if u you know ur really addicted to sumthing really bad
