Sorry to the other person who accused Obama saying spending $ using his 747 sightseeing. What are you talking about. It was great to see Obama reaching out and re setting friendships with other nations. Look at Russia one of the worlds largest worries at times, however they have both agreed to re look at nuclear weapons and reduce again. This did not happen wth Bush in his last years. We all must pay attention as the Actions of America really effect the whole world and other nations
Also think about when President Obama’s wife placed her arm around our Queen, many in the UK was offended by this, however I thought that it was so nice to see two great friends America and UK side by side. Yet you dont see UK moaning over the top about the issue with our Queen so why over the issue of President Obama showing respect to other leaders even if they are dis tastful people.
Furthermore you do not have to like a person to show them respect, your are not weak, it shows that America is the stronger people with dignity and respect and should that resolve be challanged then no doubt America will show the voice of the people with action it takes. To simply walk away and not make the effort or to not show respect carries on the same crap that has plagued us all. If they dont like you “SO WHAT” at least you have be respectful

In many cases, the best people positioned to identify waste in the Federal Government are the employees themselves. Many want to do the right thing and make their own organizations more efficient, but all too often their immediate supervisors are unwilling to listen or unable to effect change. It would be more efficient to set up a continual system to allow good ideas to work themselves to senior leadership so they can be heard and gain the backing to make them happen. Why pay someone $1m?
Didn’t he say they got 38,000 suggestions? I’d say they have plenty of ways to save. It’s not like they ignored all the others just because Nancy won the vote for the best suggestion. He said they’ve already begun implementing some of the other suggestions.
And he said they’ll open up to suggestions from the private sector next. Most people don’t need any pay or any handshakes to make these suggestions. There’s a large, untapped desire to simply help out.

Why don’t you pay someone $1 million a year to find as many of these as they can? Wouldn’t that be more efficient than waiting for fed employees like Nancy to try to win an Obama handshake?
