For a biology project to do over the Easter holidays my class had to create a presentation on the dangers of a chosen drug. I decided to do a short film, with a story depicting the dangers of smoking. This video was created sometime in March 2009. It wasnt always a silent film, it used to have music and a dialogue, but it got removed for copyrights. It was about 15 minutes long. At least I got to show it to my class. So I edited the film and got rid of all the talking and sound, and cut out a whole scene. So now its silent. Synopsis: The film follows a 14 year old boy addicted to cigarettes. With his careless mum and her boyfriend on holiday, he is left on his own with lots of money. He manipulates an alcoholic to by him cigarettes with the temptation of money for an extra pint. His eating habits, social life, physical and mental health decay as he collapses into a spiral of addictive carcinogenic toxins. Directed, written and edited by 14 year old, Orson.
