He is grinning* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *A nurse arrives* Nurse: *Checks her clipboard* *In a thick British accent* Miss Dematria? Demi: Um, it’s Demetria, and yeah? Nurse: *Clears her throat* Pardon me, miss. But it may be my accent. Well, miss, your mother is expecting to see you soon. Are you ready? Demi: *Sighs* I dunno… Okay. *Dabs her face and follows the nurse in* Diana: *Staring into space, sitting in her bad* Demi: Mom? Diana: *Mutters, without looking at Demi* How could you do this to me, Demi? Demi: Mom- Diana: You let me go. Demi: You’re a drug addict- you’re an alcoholic- you scare me and Mads and Dallas… Diana: *Looks over* Demi: *For the first time in three years, Demi finally sees her mother’s face, but not the way she always wanted* Diana: *Her eyes are bloodshot, her face is pale, her nose is red, her lips trembling. There are wires and tubes and needles stuck all over her* Demi: I- I’m sorry!! *Starts weeping* Diana: *Looks away* Don’t cry- Demi: *Cries more* Diana: *Turns to her* DON’T CRY! LISTEN TO ME YOU BITCH- *She grabs her glass of water and spills it all over herself while attempting to throw it at Demi* Demi: *Screams* Nurse: *Quickly grabs Demi’s shoulders and sweeps her away, slamming the door behind her* Demi: *Puts her hands over her mouth and cries WAY more harder* Nurse: Miss- miss… *Shakes Demi lightly* Demi: Listen, she- she really hates me!! Nurse: *Sighs* No, miss- she’s just- She can’t handle her self yet. Demi: *Cries more* Nurse: Do not cry. Repeat after me… I am okay Demi: I am- I- I am okay… Nurse: I love my mom. Demi: I love my mom. Nurse: And my mom loves me. Demi: And- and- my- my- *Cries harder* Nurse: Do you need a hug? Demi: *Nods* *She hugs the nurse* Nurse: There, there. Demi: May I go home? Selena: What do they serve there? Joe: Smoothies, cocktails, juices. Nick: No alcohol! Zac: Right! Kevin: Don’t worry Sel. We don’t drink. Miley: Chillax. Megan: After our smoothies we can go to a movie. Drew: What’s on? Lindsey: Ask Emma. *She calls Emma* Emma: Hey! Lindsey: What’s on? Emma: Susan Gray and Fin Gay. Lindsey: OOOH! ROMANTIC COMEDY! Emma: Uh huh!! Lindsey: We’re coming. Emma: K. Bye! (Click) Joe: Why Emma? Lindsey: Em got a summer job at Cineplex. Joe: Oh. Lindsey: Come on, gang. *They leave* OKAY, HOW DO YOU LIKE IT!!
