My own Drug and Alcohol Abuse took me into the world of Depression and Alcohol withdrawal symptoms and treatment. Something I cannot recommend. The phrases ‘Dead Man Walking’ and ‘At the End of the Road’ come to mind. Just looking at my Blog’s photos should scare the daylights out of you. Even I sometimes have to remind myself that shell of a man was me.

So here I am now. 2009 dawns and I have survived. Believe me folks I have to pinch myself sometimes. But here lies the crux of the matter. If I could do it so can you. The human spirit is an amazing and resiliant force of nature. That primal urge and desire to survive is always there. Buried very deep sometimes but all the same it is there. You just have to find it.

I come out of it with a list of things I hate about Alcoholism and Depression. Let me share them with you. Hopefully we can all learn something from my experiences.

I lost years of my life. I was alive and on this glorious earth, but only just. I drifted through these years in a bubble of confusion and despair. Boy does it taste sweet now.

So many people were insulted, offended, disgusted, surprised, shocked and devastated by my very presence and actions. To all these good souls thank you for carrying me through.

What is it about all that stuff that comes out of your body? At my very worst I poured liquids and slime from every possible part of my body. Even writing this makes me feel uneasy. How could I end up like that?

How is it possible to feel so bad due to Alcoholism and Depression? Take a dose of flu, malaria, migranes, sleeping sickness, gastro revolution and TB and you are just about on a par. You will feel so bad that you will eventually believe it is all a horrible nightmare.

Your Drug and Alcohol Abuse will introduce you to the dark world of Depression and Alcohol Withdrawal Symptoms and Treatment. Trust me when I say that you do not want to know about these mothers. Fancy Electric Shock Therapy or been knocked out for 10 days in a hospital bed? Well keep up your addictions and they will come calling sooner or later.

As your depression and addiction behaviour becomes more and more obscure you can force your loved ones to rely on ‘Tough Love’. Threats to leave you or force you into rehab will intensify as they see you disintegrate before thier very eyes. What a terrible choice you have forced upon them.

On the material front you might as well be in a time-warp. You are standing still in terms of your business and social lives. In many cases as these monsters take hold you can end up losing everything. We all have different gutters. Be aware that you might absolutely end up in a gutter. You deserve better.

The reality of never drinking again is going to have to be dealt with. You could wel have to navigate through 50 or 60 years with these demons on your back. I wish I had stopped earlier and maybe this Xmas day I could have a glass of champagne.

In my efforts to get my favourite poisons I would do almost anything. Alcoholism and Depression will turn you into something that you are not. A devious, sly and cunning opportunist. Lies, theft and deception are your new character traits. The word ‘relaxation’ will become unfamiliar to you. No matter how you appear on the surface on the inside you are slowly dying. At no time will you feel content and at ease with the world spinning around you.

I apologise if this article leaves you feeling a little uneasy. That was the object. My own version of ‘Tough Love’. Drug and Alcohol Abuse means there is a price to pay. Depression and Alcohol Withdrawal Symptoms and Treatment is not a pleasant journey. All those days of numb acceptance will have to be faced sooner or later. From an old hand. Do not go there.

Increasing numbers of people have become intimately acquainted with the misery of drug addiction: either their own addiction or the addiction of someone they know or care about.

DRUGS ACT ON THE BODY LIKE POISONS, DEPLETING ITS VITAMINS AND MINERALS AND WITH CONTINUED USE OF THE DRUG, THE BODY’S ABILITY TO PRODUCE CERTAIN CHEMICALS SUCH AS VITAMINS IS CRIPPLED BECAUSE THESE CHEMICALS ARE REPLACED BY THE DRUG.

DEPRIVED OF ITS OWN NATURAL RESOURCES AND WITH THE ABILITY TO CREATE THEM INCREASINGLY IMPAIRED, THE BODY PERCEIVES THAT IT NEEDS THE DRUG TO FUNCTION AND DEMANDS THE DRUG THROUGH PHYSICAL CRAVINGS.

THE BODY HUNGERS FOR THE DRUGS THE WAY A STARVING MAN WOULD HUNGER FOR NUTRITION. THESE CRAVINGS BECOME SO SEVERE THAT THE ADDICT WILL DO ALMOST ANYTHING TO GET MORE OF THE DRUG.

IT IS DIFFICULT FOR ANYONE WHO HAS NOT SUFFERED ADDICTION TO IMAGINE HOW SEVERE AND RELENTLESS THOSE CRAVINGS BECOME.

THE  ADDICT COMMITS INCREASINGLY SERIOUS MISDEEDS AGAINST HIS FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND HIMSELF TO SATISFY THOSE UNRELENTING CRAVINGS. GRADUALLY HIS PREVIOUS PERSONAL CODES OF CONDUCT, HIS PERSONAL STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOUR ARE ABANDONED.

BECAUSE OF THOSE MISDEEDS. THE ADDICT FEELS INCREASINGLY DEGRADED, CANNOT FACE HIMSELF AND SO DIVES DEEPER INTO DRUGS.

THE PERSON IS NOW TRAPPED IN FULL BLOWN DRUG ADDICTION.

Addiction is a particularly vicious and destructive trap. Most drug addicts or alcoholics are, prior to their addiction, intelligent and most often creative persons with much hope for the future.

The shambling, malnourished criminal types to whom you give a wide berth on your city streets are usually in the final stages of a long and agonized downfall that began with a pain that would not resolve and winds up in a wide, cloying sea of agony.

Fortunately, when you understand the true reason for addiction, a door to an effective solution opens before you.

I’m 23 years old. This is a very awkward situation. About 3 months ago my girlfriend and I ended our one year relationship(we’re no longer friends). We just weren’t compatible and we ended up arguing about everything. Some people were luckier compared to others, but, for those who consider their homes their lone fortune, they’ll have to face the various consequences brought by the typhoons on their Manila real estate.

Some of the short term problems of the flood brought by Typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng to most real estates in Manila include muck scatteredl over the home, broken doors and windows and ruined paintwork. The first problem is relatively the easiest one to resolve but it takes the most time and drinks up a great deal of resources as well as energy. The second and last problems will definitely be much more costly.

1.) Do not retain a criminal law attorney or dui defense lawyer based upon the attorney’s office location. 3.) Never speak to law enforcement without a criminal law attorney and be especially pro active in retaining a criminal law or dui defense lawyer at your earliest opportunity

One who has been arrested for a felony or misdemeanor crime or accused of a criminal offense must always be aware that an arresting officer or detective is not your friend. No matter the kindness and sympathy one in law enforcement may extend to you, the fact that you are a professional, veteran of the armed forces or contributor to the sheriff’s department is not going to legally aid you in providing a legal defense. Only a rookie or inexperienced detective or police officer will yell and scream at one being investigated for a crime. Rather, an effective law enforcement officer is usually trained in the art of gaining a suspect’s trust and in turn the potential for an incriminating statement without the assistance of a capable criminal defense law attorney to protect you. Do not let the truth get in the way of reality. It is an officer’s job to thoroughly scrutinize a statement given in good faith for any possible discrepancies in an effort to incriminate one subjected to a criminal investigation. Once that statement, no matter how innocently intended or misinterpreted has been made, the job of your criminal law attorney has been made infinitely more difficult. Most had complete remission of pain at one week.However, at six months, the gas proved far more effective for those with disc disease. Of 86 patients getting the O2/O3 gas mixture, only 13 (15%) had poor outcomes. The steroid injection group had a 22.5% rate of poor outcomes. Among patients without disk disease, 6 of 70 (8.6%) receiving the gas had a poor outcome. But 21.4% of those getting the steroids had a poor outcome. The oxygen/ozone treatment beat steroids long-term for both disc and non disc pain.

However, for that non-disc pain group, they said the difference was not statistically significant. What that means is that there was a 10% possibility that ozone’s superiority to steroids for non-disc long-term improvement was due only to chance. I know the odds on a craps table.
